We originally reached out to The Original Plumber for a quote on our work. We were told the cost would be $450 and that we would need to provide a new faucet to replace our current broken/leaky faucet. It was a bit high considering the faucet we were adding is a simple 50-80$ faucet, so we called Davidson & Sons Plumbing to see if we could get some assistance. The people we spoke to over the phone were compassionate and helpful, and the plumbers they sent out were skilled and efficient with their work. The two of them even offered to come earlier in the day (About 5 hours before our scheduled time) which for most service works, I've had the experience of expecting them to be late. They really went above and beyond, were extremely kind, informative, and helpful - and even caught an additional issue they were able to fix right on the spot. From start to finish the phone reps and the experts they sent out made us feel secure and confident in our choice to go with them, and we got a much better price for the service at $275 instead of the original quote from the other service which helped us out a substantially. We live in a 20 year old subdivision and, along with all of our neighbors over the years, have had to have the corroded pipe from the street to our main water line redug and replaced in a different part of our basement b/c it was leaking (original line is under our front porch and hard to access.) We saw a recommendation from a neighbor on our HOA FB page that Davis & Sons had recently done theirs. I really appreciated how RESPONSIVE this company was!!! If you call them, they will respond right away and will work to make sure you're happy in the end. They will not ditch you after you've paid! I'm glad we trusted such an important project to Davis & Sons. They made all the arrangements to have the property marked for sewer, gas, electrical, etc. and hardly disrupted our grass with their boring machine.
